We are equally uncompromising on details: we use high-strength stitching thread for secure seams; our netting offers good visibility and boasts a tensile strength of up to 10,000 PSI along with flame-retardant properties; and all components, such as velcro ,clips, and webbing, are meticulously selected high-quality parts to ensure long-term durability.

At Leisure Activities® Inflatable, our Design and Engineering department is dedicated to precision in seam fabrication. We employ up to seven specialized seam types, selected based on the Super Inflatable Bouncy Castles Elf, to ensure unmatched durability and performance. Below is an overview of our key seam technologies, reflecting our commitment to building the highest quality inflatables in the world.

W-PAT Seams

Our Water-Proof, Air-Tight (W-PAT) seams set an industry standard for reliability. They are engineered to be completely impervious to air and water leakage, while also enhancing the overall air pressure retention of the inflatable structure.

Heavy-Duty Seams with Glue Strips/Spots

This is our strongest seam construction, commonly used in water games to minimize water penetration and at high-stress points such as slide entrances and exits. By bonding adhesive strips or spots between panels, stress is distributed away from the stitching, significantly increasing the seam's strength and fatigue resistance. This method is also applied in many of our Gator Mouth™ connections.

Gator Mouth™ Seams

The Gator Mouth™ seam is a reinforced seam used in high-impact areas, such as slide entry/exit points and interior game walls. It relocates the stress point up to 8 inches away from the typical impact zone, reducing wear and extending product life. Each Gator Mouth™ seam is built with a heavy-duty stitch, and often incorporates glue reinforcement for added resilience.
