How to maintain and care for your bouncy castle?

The maintenance and upkeep of the inflatable castle directly affects its service life and safety. It requires standardized operations from the four core links of daily use, cleaning, storage, and troubleshooting. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Maintenance points in daily use

Strictly control usage conditions

It is prohibited to use it in severe weather such as strong wind (wind force ≥5), rain, snow, lightning, etc. to prevent the castle from being blown over, becoming moldy after getting wet, or getting an electric shock.

Limit the number of visitors and their ages to avoid structural damage caused by overweight or overage people. It is prohibited to bring sharp objects (keys, scissors) and hard toys into the venue to prevent the tarpaulin from being scratched.

The placement site must be flat and free of sharp debris such as gravel and branches. It is best to lay a layer of non-slip mat or carpet to reduce wear and tear on the bottom.

Fan operation monitoring

Before starting the machine, check whether the air inlet of the fan is blocked by debris to prevent the fan from being overloaded and burned. If there is abnormal noise or severe heat generation during operation, stop the machine immediately for inspection.

Ensure that the connecting pipe between the fan and the castle is tightly sealed to prevent air leakage from causing the castle to collapse; have a spare connecting pipe and vulnerable accessories in case of sudden failure.

Fixed system check

Before each use, confirm whether ballast fixing devices such as sandbags and ground nails are stable. Especially when used outdoors, the fixing strength needs to be adjusted according to the site to prevent it from being blown by the wind.

2. Cleaning and Disinfection Process

Routine cleaning (after each use)

Turn off the fan first, and after the castle deflates naturally, use a soft brush or rag dipped in clean water to wipe away dust and stains on the surface. For stubborn stains, neutral detergent (such as dishwashing liquid) can be added. Do not use strong acid or alkali cleaners to avoid corroding the tarpaulin material.

For dirt at the bottom and gaps, you can use a high-pressure water gun (set to low-pressure mode) to rinse away the dirt, and be careful to avoid wearing parts such as zippers and Velcro.

Deep disinfection (regularly or after multiple uses)

Inflatable castles that are frequently used by children need to be disinfected once a week. You can choose 84 disinfectant diluent (1:100 ratio) or special toy disinfectant, spray it evenly on the surface, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then wipe it clean with clean water to avoid disinfectant residue irritating the skin.

Drying process

After cleaning, the castle must be completely dried before storage, including the surface, gaps and bottom, to prevent internal moisture from breeding mold and producing odor. When drying outdoors, avoid sunlight exposure and air dry in a ventilated and cool place.
